SALT TO TASTE: Recipes
🍑 HOT PEACH SALSA 🍑
- 2 Large peaches, diced
- 1 red onion, diced
- 1-2 jalapeño, seeded and diced
- 1 small bunch cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 1-2 tsp Salty Provisions Sea Salt
- Fresh cracked pepper to taste (if desired)
Salt to taste, we recommend: LEMON & PEPPER (1 tsp), SRIRACHA LIME (1 tsp), COFFEE SALT (1-2 tsp), or HOT SALT (2 tsp)
In a medium bowl, combine ingredients and toss.
Refrigerate until ready to use.

HOMEMADE PITA CHIPS
Take a slice of store-bought pita bread and cut it into pieces/triangles. Separate at the seam and brush each piece with melted butter or an oil of your choice. Sprinkle any one of our infused sea salts or seasoning blends on each piece and place on a piece of foil in the toaster oven. Toast until crispy, turn at least once to ensure both sides get toasty.
WE RECOMMEND: DOUBLE ONION + ROASTED GARLIC, ZESTY PICKLE, ROASTED GARLIC SEA SALT or LEMON + ROSEMARY SEA SALT.
Or, you can bake them in the oven on a cookie sheet. Preheat the oven to 400° and bake for 10 to 20 minutes depending on how crispy you want them. Turn at least once to make sure they bake thoroughly on both sides and do not burn.
Yum! Dip them in your favorite hummus or salsa recipe, or to scoop up guacamole or cottage cheese sprinkled with our Double Onion & Roasted Garlic Flake Sea Salt.
BRUSSELS SPROUTS SALAD
Made with bacon, dried craisins + blue cheese crumbles.
Combine shredded or chopped Brussels Sprouts, mixed greens, crispy chopped bacon, dried Craisins (or any chewy dried fruit, chopped). Salt to taste with a sprinkle of Salty Provisions Sea Salt.
WE RECOMMEND: LEMON + ROSEMARY or DOUBLE ONION + ROASTED GARLIC SEA SALT.
Toss with your favorite vinaigrette dressing and serve. We made our own, recipe coming soon.
OVEN ROASTED CHICKEN WINGS
- 3-4 lbs fresh chicken wings from your local farmers market, butcher or grocery store
- 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter or an oil of your choice
- Any of our sea salts or seasoning blends, your choice. Salt to taste.
Preheat oven to 500°. Rinse and dry chicken wings. With a pastry brush, or with your hands, coat each wing thoroughly with butter or oil. (Please note that the butter my harden if wings are cold. That’s OK.)
Place wings bottom side up on a lined baking sheet. Lightly season the exposed side with your favorite sea salt or seasoning blend. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove pan from oven and turn the pieces over. Lightly brush again with butter or oil if desired and season with your favorite blend. Return the pan to oven and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes to your desired crispiness. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces or enjoy them naked.
GRILLED SALMON IN A FOIL POUCH
1 lb salmon filet cut into smaller pieces
Olive oil, avocado oil or melted butter
1 large lemon sliced into rounds
Your favorite SALTY PROVISIONS sea salt or seasoning blends.
